P355N Pressure Vessel Steel Plate

High-strength P355N pressure vessel steel plate with superior weldability and impact resistance for boilers and industrial pressure equipment.

  • High Yield Strength: Minimum yield strength of 355 MPa ensures excellent load-bearing performance.

  • Good Weldability: Low carbon equivalent provides excellent welding performance without preheating.

  • Reliable Toughness: Normalized condition enhances grain structure and impact resistance.

  • Pressure and Temperature Resistant: Ideal for use in high-temperature and pressure environments.

  • Wide Industrial Applications: Used in boilers, chemical vessels, oil storage tanks, and heat exchangers.

P355N Steel Description

P355N is a normalized pressure vessel steel plate specified in the EN 10028-3 standard. It is designed for use in medium to high-temperature pressure systems, providing outstanding mechanical properties and structural reliability.

With a minimum yield strength of 355 MPa, P355N offers high performance under stress and pressure, making it suitable for manufacturing boilers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.

The steel exhibits excellent weldability, formability, and impact strength, particularly when supplied in the normalized condition (“N”). It is commonly used across oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, and power generation industries.
