P420N Steel Description
P420N steel is a high-strength pressure vessel steel plate under the EN 10028-3 standard, supplied in the normalized (N) condition. With a minimum yield strength of 420 MPa, this steel offers outstanding performance for manufacturing pressure vessels, boilers, and heat exchangers operating under high pressure and elevated temperatures.
Thanks to its balanced combination of strength, weldability, and impact resistance, P420N is widely used in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation sectors. It provides reliable performance even in dynamic or cyclic pressure environments, ensuring safety and durability.
