S620 Steel Plate Description
S620 steel plate is a high-strength structural steel produced under EN 10025-6, offering a minimum yield strength of 620 MPa.
It is part of the quench and tempered structural steel family, designed for critical load-bearing structures such as bridges, cranes, offshore platforms, and wind towers.
Thanks to its optimized carbon content and micro-alloying elements (Nb, V, Ti), S620 delivers both excellent toughness and weldability.
It’s widely used in energy, construction, and mechanical industries that demand both high strength and superior fatigue resistance.
Supplied in the Q+T (Quenched and Tempered) condition, S620 ensures consistent mechanical properties and dimensional stability, even for thick plates.
