S890 High Strength Structural Steel Plate
S890 is a quenched and tempered high-strength structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 890 MPa. Designed for weight-critical, load-bearing applications, S890 delivers exceptional strength, weldability, and toughness, helping industries reduce structural weight and improve overall efficiency.
-
Ultra-High Strength: Yield strength ≥ 890 MPa for heavy-duty structures.
-
Excellent Weldability: Supports all conventional welding methods with low hydrogen control.
-
Superior Toughness: Maintains high impact energy at low temperatures.
-
Enhanced Structural Efficiency: Enables lighter, stronger, and safer designs.
-
Produced to EN 10025-6 Standard: Guaranteed quality and performance consistency.
S890 Steel Description
S890 high-strength structural steel plate is manufactured by quenching and tempering processes that deliver uniform strength and toughness across the plate thickness. This grade is widely used in industries requiring extreme strength, reduced weight, and excellent fatigue resistance, such as heavy machinery, mining, and offshore engineering.
S890 also offers excellent flatness and dimensional precision, making it ideal for laser and plasma cutting, CNC fabrication, and complex welded structures.
